Using different road signs as metaphors we will look at the spiritual signifence of common every day signs you would see on your average vacation trip. Men & Boy’s Campout
Last week some of the men of Ambassador Baptist got together for a time of preaching and fellowship. The air was cold but the preaching was hot. Pastor Rob Badger from Victory Baptist Church in North Hollywood was our special speaker and did a wonderful job preaching. Our hearts were stirred and our lives challenged by the convicting messages.
ABC Singers
The music at Ambassador Baptist Church has always blessed my heart. This year we we are continueing to develop the quality of our music program in a number of different ways. One way is through the creation of ensembles. Each ensemble has been given a group name, a leader, practice times each week, and a list of songs to learn.
The group above is the ABC singers. They did a tremendous job singing recently at our Spring Bible Conference. Special thanks to Tom Boonstra for leading this group and to Ben Crownover for his support of our music program.
Auditorium Expansion Project
Two weeks ago we began our auditorium expansion project. We are excited about how quickly the Lord has allowed us to move through the project. I am so thankful to the many, many folks who have volunteered their time and resources to make this project a reality. We are looking forward to having extra seats in which to put all the people that the Lord is entrusting to our care. Please pray that the Lord will allow us to finish this project in a timely manner.
New Member’s Reception
Last week we recognized some of the families that have joined Ambassador Baptist Church in the last few months. It was joy to see so many folks excited about what the Lord is been doing at Ambassador. I am so thankful for a wonderful church family that is excited about reaching lost souls with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Fundamental Impact Launched!
I am excited to announce that last week we were able to kick off Fundamental Impact. This site is designed to be a helpful resource for Pastor’s and people in ministry. Everyday we will be posting free resources, and then the first full week of June we will be having our Grand Opening Celebration. That week we will be giving away an iPod shuffle, Logos software, Free tracts, a web-site, books and more.

Launching the Fundamental Network!!!
We are officially launching the Fundamental Network. FN will be a series of four web-sites that we prayer will be a help and encouragement to ministry leaders. Daniel Irmler has been spear heading this project. He has literally spent hundreds of hours on these projects over the last three months.

Ashlyn’s First Time in Main Preaching Service
Ashlyn just turned four which means she officially joins the main preaching service for Sunday evenings. She absolutely loves it, as you can tell. The above picture is her at the end of my message that first night.
Ambassador’s First Official Spanish Service
Over the past few months we have been working at cultivating a nucleus of spanish folks through which to start a spanish worship service . We have began by starting a spanish adult class a few months ago and then last week we officially held our first spanish service. Praise the Lord!
The special music was wonderful, the preaching was great (at least I am assuming since I don’t technically understand spanish myself yet), and the spirit was dynamic. Pray that the Lord would give us the wisdom on how to proceed in ministering to the spanish speaking folks in the Fresno area in the months ahead.
